… is a program for junior employees in Web Design Agencies or any young person
with experience in the creative field. They should be fluent in English and have a work portfolio demonstrating their potential. To compete for a spot at the Kindergarten they must solve a brief (see the briefs area on the blog for Cyber), as well as fill out the application form, both of which can be also requested at gradinita@canneslions.ro.
After being selected, there will be a 4-month stage during which the Young Creatives candidates are expected to solve 10 additional briefs. These will be evaluated by a jury composed of Romanian and foreign members. 3 teams will make it to the final and, as in the years before, the winning team will be selected after an interview with the founder of the school.
The qualified web designer and copywriter will become the Cyber Young Lions and will participate in the international competition at Cannes Lions Advertising Festival.
Note: age limit is 28.
What next, at Cannes ?
The Cyber Competition for Young Lions
This competition is open to a copywriter and web designer who have 24 hours to create a web ad. The brief, provided by our chosen organisation (in most cases a charity or non-profitable organisation), is disclosed to all competitors. The Cyber teams then consider the brief overnight and work between 08:00 – 20:00 the following day to create their work. The winners are decided by the Cyber Lions jury. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals are awarded to winners, with the Gold winning team receiving their prize on stage at the Press, Cyber & Design Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 18 June.
